We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly qualified API and Mobile Tester to join our dynamic team. In this role, the successful candidate will play a pivotal part in ensuring the quality and functionality of our mobile applications and APIs. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of testing methodologies and be well-versed in both manual and automated testing processes. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts while collaborating closely with developers and product managers to resolve any defects and improve overall product quality. You will be instrumental in creating a framework for performance and regression testing, aimed at enhancing user experiences across various platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for mobile applications and APIs.
• Perform manual and automated testing to identify bugs and ensure the quality of software releases.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve defects.
• Design and implement testing frameworks for performance and regression testing.
• Analyze testing results and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to project discussions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in testing mobile applications and APIs in a professional environment.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, both manual and automated.
• Familiarity with testing tools such as Postman, Selenium, or similar frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to manage multiple testing tasks and prioritize effectively under tight deadlines.
  
  

API Testing Experience

• Practical knowledge of testing APIs using tools like Postman or Swagger
• Ability to validate request/response payloads, status codes, and headers
• Familiarity with basic API concepts such as GET/POST/PUT/DELETE methods
• Experience reporting API-level bugs clearly with steps and logs
  
  

Mobile App Testing

• Experience testing Android and iOS apps on real devices or emulators
• Familiarity with installation, upgrade, functional, and regression testing of mobile apps
• Ability to identify crashes, UI issues, and performance lags
  
  

Web App Testing

• Strong in UI/UX testing across different browsers and devices
• Ability to validate end-to-end user journeys and report bugs with clarity
  
  

Good To Have

• Domain knowledge in Mutual Funds (MF), Portfolio Management Services (PMS), or Alternative Investment Funds (AIF)
  
  

Must have : Exposure to JIRA, Excel, Confluence
