Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Automation Tester to join our quality assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts and frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of our technology platform. You will collaborate closely with the Development and Product teams to identify areas for automation and drive the testing strategy.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automation test scripts using Selenium, TestNG, or similar frameworks
• Create and manage test plans, test cases, and test data for both functional and regression testing
• Identify areas suitable for automation and contribute to automation strategy and framework enhancement
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Collaborate with Developers, Product Managers, and Business Analysts to ensure test coverage and quality standards
• Analyze test results, log defects, and track them to closure
• Execute automated and manual tests when necessary and report on software quality metrics
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility through testing
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in automation testing and test script development
• Proficient in Selenium WebDriver, Java, TestNG/JUnit, and other automation tools
• Experience with REST API testing using tools like Postman or SOAP UI
• Solid understanding of testing principles, QA methodologies, and software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle)
• Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture and backend testing
• Good experience with SQL for database validation
• Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter is a plus
