Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA/Software Tester with strong skills in manual testing and basic automation testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in test planning, test case creation, execution, defect tracking, and working closely with developers to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Understand business requirements and create detailed, comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Perform manual functional, regression, and integration testing for web and mobile applications.
- Execute basic automation scripts for repetitive test cases.
- Identify, log, and track defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar).
- Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure quality at every stage of the SDLC.
- Validate bug fixes and perform re-testing.
- Maintain and update test documentation.
- Participate in review meetings and contribute to continuous process improvement.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards within project timelines.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 13 years of experience in manual testing and basic automation (Selenium, Cypress, or similar).
- Familiarity with SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of basic SQL queries for database validation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
