Quality Test Engineer (JLPT)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium with Java.
• Perform manual testing including functional, regression, system, and integration testing.
• Analyze business and technical requirements to prepare detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
• Identify, document, track, and validate defects using standard defect management tools.
• Ensure end-to-end quality assurance across assigned applications and releases.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate effectively with Japanese stakeholders for requirement understanding, test execution, defect clarification, and status reporting.
• Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks and ensure adherence to QA best practices.

Skills Required:

• Strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing and Test Automation
• Proficiency in Selenium with Java for automation testing
• Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Knowledge of API testing concepts and tools (e.g., Rest Assured)
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber
• Experience with version control tools like Git
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to write clear, concise, and well-structured test cases and test reports
• Excellent communication skills to interact with Japanese stakeholders

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in related field
• JLPT N2 certification is mandatory, along with a strong background in Software Testing / Quality Engineering.
