RBHU Analytics - Quality Assurance Test Engineer - Regression Testing

• Position Purpose :
  
  

This position is responsible for providing testing assistance to IT and business teams across various product and system development initiatives. The role involves end-to-end management of functional and automation testing, ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of applications before release.

• Key Responsibilities :
• Collaborate with development and product teams to identify testing scope and define test cases.
• Design, write, and execute manual and automated test scripts.
• Conduct testing across different environments Web, Mobile, API, and Integration layers.
• Perform functional, regression, GUI, and authorization testing.
• Identify, log, and track defects to closure; maintain detailed defect reports.
• Ensure quality assurance and compliance with defined processes.
• Troubleshoot issues and work closely with developers to isolate and resolve defects.
• Manage multiple testing projects simultaneously and adhere to delivery timelines.
• Maintain comprehensive testing documentation including plans, execution logs, defect logs, SOPs, and reports.
• Communicate findings, risks, and recommendations effectively to both technical and business stakeholders.

Education

• BE/BTech/MCA or equivalent technical qualification.
  
  

Experience

• 1 to 3 years of experience in software testing (functional and automation) across web, mobile, or API applications.
• Exposure to end-to-end system testing, integration testing, and UAT processes.
• Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, V+, Falcon, etc.).

Skill Area : Details

Technical / Functional : Hands-on experience in Web, Mobile, and API Testing. Knowledge of automation frameworks and scripting preferred.

Testing Tools : Experience with tools such as Selenium, Postman, JMeter, V+ and Falcon.

Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Documentation : Ability to create detailed test plans, test cases, defect logs, and reports.
