React Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced React Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of React.js and its core principles, with hands-on experience in building modern, scalable, and high-performance web applications. As a React Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing user interface components using React, Redux, and related technologies.

You will work closely with designers, back-end developers, and other team members to deliver high-quality solutions. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for front-end development.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and Maintain Front-End Features

• Build efficient and reusable front-end systems and abstractions using React.js.

• Implement new user-facing features with a strong focus on performance and usability.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

2. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams

• Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate design wireframes into high-quality code.

• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and services.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

3. Optimize Application Performance

• Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the application.

• Ensure optimal performance across a wide range of web-capable devices and browsers.

• Use tools like Chrome DevTools and Lighthouse to measure and improve performance.

4. Ensure High Code Quality

• Follow coding standards and best practices.

• Conduct regular testing and debugging to ensure a high-quality user experience.

• Write unit and integration tests using tools like Jest, React Testing Library, or Enzyme.

5. Stay Updated with the Latest Technologies

• Continuously research and stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.

• Evaluate and recommend tools and libraries that can improve development efficiency.

• Attend workshops, webinars, or community events to expand your skillset.

Required Skills and Qualifications

1. Core Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+ features.

• Hands-on experience with React.js and its ecosystem (Redux, React Router, Hooks).

• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.

2. State Management

• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Context API, or MobX.

• Ability to architect and manage complex application states effectively.

3. API Integration

• Experience working with RESTful APIs and asynchronous requests (Axios, Fetch API).

• Understanding of how to handle CORS, authentication tokens, and error handling.

4. Testing and Debugging

• Familiarity with front-end testing frameworks and libraries (Jest, Mocha, React Testing Library).

• Strong debugging skills using browser developer tools and logging techniques.

5. Version Control

• Proficient in using Git and platforms like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.

• Understanding of version control workflows (branching, pull requests, merges).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience working in a front-end development role.

• Familiarity with build tools and bundlers like Webpack, Babel, or Vite.

• Knowledge of TypeScript is a plus.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.

• Basic understanding of back-end technologies like Node.js or GraphQL.
