Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy robust, scalable, and high-performance Android applications using modern development practices.
- Lead the implementation of complex features and modules, ensuring code quality, maintainability, and adherence to architectural guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications and impactful features.
- Contribute significantly to the system design and architecture of new and existing Android applications.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior and mid-level developers.
- Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and stability, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
- Stay abreast of the latest Android ecosystem trends, tools, and best practices, evaluating and integrating new technologies where beneficial.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across the application lifecycle.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Android application development.
- Kotlin : Expert-level proficiency in Kotlin programming language.
- Jetpack Compose : Extensive hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose for building modern, declarative UIs.
- Coroutines & Flows : Deep understanding and practical experience with Kotlin Coroutines and Flows for asynchronous programming and reactive streams.
- KMM (Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile) : Proven experience or strong understanding of Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile for sharing code across Android and iOS platforms.
- System Design & Architecture : Strong capabilities in designing and implementing scalable, modular, and maintainable Android application architectures.
- Solid understanding of Android SDK, lifecycle, and common design patterns (MVVM, MVI, etc.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and integrations.
- Proficient with Git version control and modern development workflows.
- Experience with CMP (Consent Management Platforms) and implementing privacy-related features.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
- Experience with performance profiling and memory optimization tools for Android
