The Opportunity
- Job Description :
- Technically execute reliability testing of a variety of Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics components;
- Responsibilities include setting product Reliability Goals, FMECA, develop Test Plans, Prepare and Execute Lab Testing, prepare Reliability Test Reports, perform Failure Analysis and recommend Corrective Actions.
- Hands-on development of customized test benches for accelerated Reliability testing of a variety of Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic hardware
- Troubleshooting of a wide range of engineering problems of moderate difficultly under general supervision
- May be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of custom mechanical fixtures, tooling and associated processes to enable the handling, assembly and/or disassembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies throughout the product life cycle
- Co-ordinate the procurement and assembly of mechanical components/equipment and identify sources of critical parts and sub-systems to resolve moderately complex technical issues
- Communicate effectively with global cross-functional teams
- Hands-on experience in testing a variety of Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Hardware
- Have hands-on experience in testing and trouble-shooting component level problems in mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, electronic, electro-mechanical, vacuum systems and sub-systems
- Design for Reliability (DfR) knowledge & experience in product development cycle
- Application of reliability engineering (Reliability goal setting, FMECA, FBD, RBD, MTBF Calculation, Life Data Analysis and Reliability Growth) in product validation
- Knowledge of Device Physics, Thermal Analysis, and related Mechanical Failure Mechanisms / Physics of Failure
- Creo: Design or modify mechanical engineering & detailed drawings of moderate scope
- Teamcenter: Basic understanding/experience
- Knowledge of Data Acquisition systems and automation with LabVIEW/Visual Basic programming – Preferred
- Knowledge of Reliability Analytics – Weibull++, Reliability Growth, Lambda Predict, Accelerated Life Test Analysis and Predictive models is a plus
