Overview Of The Job
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our software team. In this role, you will be responsible for validating and ensuring the functionality and compliance of PCIe switch solutions across multiple configurations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the PCIe protocol along with hands-on experience in Python for automation and testing. You will work closely with hardware, firmware, and validation teams to ensure high-quality, reliable products that meet industry standards.
What You’ll Do
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans to validate PCIe switch functionality and compliance.
- Perform protocol-level testing across multiple system configurations.
- Design and implement automated test scripts using Python to improve validation efficiency.
- Analyze test results, debug issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes.
- Validate PCIe compliance with relevant industry specifications and standards.
- Work with hardware, firmware, and software teams to ensure seamless integration and performance.
- Document test procedures, results, and validation reports.
- Continuously improve test frameworks and methodologies.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Good understanding of the PCIe protocol and its architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Python programming for test automation.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills.
- Familiarity with hardware validation environments and system-level testing is a plus.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced engineering environment.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail.
