Champ Code Academy is an award-winning online coding school teaching children aged 7–15 how to build games using Roblox Studio and Minecraft Education. With thousands of students across 13 countries, we're now expanding our game development curriculum and building more advanced, engaging project templates to level up our coding lessons.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Roblox Game Developer to support our curriculum team by building sample game projects and guiding our tutors on how to code and teach complex game features (e.g., inventory systems, weapons, multiplayer logic, AI, etc.).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust, scalable sample projects in Roblox Studio using Lua.
• Work closely with our curriculum team to turn lesson ideas into polished mini-games or project templates.
• Create modular and well-documented scripts for educational use.
• Build and demonstrate complex game systems like:
• Inventory & weapon systems
• NPC enemies and AI
• Multiplayer logic & data storage
• UI/UX systems (custom HUD, leaderboards, menus)
• Run internal knowledge-sharing sessions to train our tutors on how the systems work.
• Review and troubleshoot tutor-built code; advise on best practices.
• Maintain a library of reusable code modules and tools.

Requirements

• Proficient in Roblox Studio and Lua scripting
• Strong knowledge of Roblox game architecture, RemoteEvents, DataStores, GUIs, and ModuleScripts
• At least 1–2 years experience building full Roblox games or systems
• Ability to explain code clearly to non-developers (e.g., tutors with basic Lua knowledge)
• Comfortable working asynchronously with remote teams
• Portfolio or GitHub showcasing past Roblox projects or systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹33,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
