About The Role
We are seeking a seasoned Android TV Developer with deep expertise in building scalable, high-performance mobile and TV applications. This is an onsite opportunity in Chennai for professionals passionate about crafting immersive TV experiences and integrating enterprise-grade mobility solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and develop mobile solutions across native, hybrid, and web platforms, with a strong focus on Android and Android TV
- Integrate mobile applications with web services and external APIs
- Define, analyze, and document Enterprise Mobility Architecture
- Implement industry-standard design patterns (MVC, MVVM) and service-oriented architectures (SOA) using REST/JSON and SOAP/XML
- Develop and manage Android TV layouts, navigation, and controllers using AndroidX libraries
- Build engaging TV experiences using Android Leanback library
- Stream video content using ExoPlayer with advanced customization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reusable frameworks, assets, and reference architectures
- Ensure adherence to development and QA best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in mobile application development
- Proven experience in Android TV development and video streaming technologies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Experience in enterprise mobility platforms and architecture integration
- Familiarity with reusable component development and industry solution design
- Knowledge of TV-specific UI/UX design principles
