About the team
The Business Analyst – Salesforce will provide support for enhancements to our Salesforce platform as a member of our IT Application Excellence team within Corporate IT. You will apply industry standard best practices to ensure the platform is robust, healthy, current, and fulfilling the needs of the business.
As part of our go-to-market portfolio team within IT, you will support various platform activities, including needs assessment, technology selection, managing technology implementation, process improvement projects, and business systems support. You will also ensure compliance with IT General Controls, including Sarbanes Oxley 404 Controls, across platforms such as Salesforce CPQ, Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud, Salesforce Community Cloud, Gainsight CX/PX, ZoomInfo, 6sense, Outreach, and more.
What you will do
Work closely with other Corporate IT teams, IT Business Partners, App Excellence team members and business users to identify and analyze business processes, user and system requirements and support existing Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support solutions.
Collaborate with your team to manage the backlog of Salesforce improvement opportunities (features, enhancements, fixes, etc.) using an Agile approach, and deliver a regular sprint release cycle.
Provide business analysis, implementation, integration, configuration, and testing excellence in support of the Salesforce platform.
Support the implementation of new projects and provide support for our Salesforce platform, apps, upgrades, enhancements, fixes, and features in collaboration with business SMEs, Solution Architects, Business Analysts and Developers.
Support new application implementation projects, including project coordination, data migration, user training, ITIL process implementation go-live and post-go-live support.
Interpret data, analyze results, and provide ongoing reports and analysis through presentations and dashboards to guide the business on the effectiveness, quality, and efficiency of the Salesforce Platform.

What we are looking for
4+ years of professional experience in business analysis, project management, testing, and application support, with at least 3 years specifically within the Salesforce ecosystem.
Strong emphasis on the administration and configuration of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
Staying current with Salesforce best practices, updates, and new features to ensure optimal system performance and utilization.
Expertise in eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements to ensure alignment with business goals and technical capabilities with the ability to translate high-level business requirements into functional and system requirements.
Experience with custom configuration is highly desired.
Experience with design, configuration, and/or support of Salesforce managed packages such as ZoomInfo,
Outreach, 6sense, Gainsight, or similar tools preferred.
Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) & Agile best practices with experience in writing clear and concise user stories with acceptance criteria to ensure that development work aligns with business needs.
Experience completing service and support tickets, reducing backlog, and proactively identifying opportunities to improve user experience to reduce tickets in a high tech, global organization.
Working knowledge of SQL for querying databases.
Technical background, system/data integration experience, or experience with API development.
Experience writing Apex Triggers, Data loader, and custom code is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Critical thinker with strong analytical skills.
Demonstrated ability to identify and evaluate several alternative solutions to meet the business needs.

Education/Training Required:
B.S. degree or equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Preferred Certifications: Salesforce CPQ Specialist, Salesforce Certified Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, Experience Cloud Consultant.
