Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Technical Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading medium-sized teams, leveraging the latest SAP technologies, and ensuring successful project delivery. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of SAP ABAP developers, ensuring high-quality deliverables and effective collaboration.
• Design, develop, and implement solutions using advanced SAP technologies, including RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model) and OData services.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their technical and professional growth.
• Oversee delivery management, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across SAP modules, providing expert guidance to the team.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Promote best practices in SAP ABAP development, code quality, and documentation.
  
  

Required Skills

• Extensive experience as an SAP ABAP developer, with a minimum of 6-8 years in SAP environments.
• Proven leadership in managing medium-sized technical teams (5-15 members).
• Expertise in modern SAP technologies such as RAP, OData, CDS Views, and Fiori integration.
• Strong mentoring skills, with a demonstrated ability to coach and develop junior staff.
• Delivery management skills, including project planning, execution, and risk mitigation.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills for resolving technical challenges.
• Effective communication skills for stakeholder management and team coordination.
  
  

Preferred Attributes

• SAP certification(s) in ABAP or related modules.
• Exposure to S/4HANA migration projects.
• Experience with RFP (Request for Proposal) processes and technical proposal development.
• Sales support experience and client-facing skills for pre-sales activities.
• Best practices in code reviews, unit testing, transport management
