SAP Data Migration Analyst (Mid-Level)

Overview

We are looking for a motivated and capable SAP Data Migration Analyst to support data preparation, transformation, and load activities as part of SAP S/4HANA implementation projects. This role will focus heavily on using SAP Migration Cockpit (LTMC) and related tools to help move data from legacy systems into SAP.

While this position does not require deep SAP experience, the ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in data migration concepts, data quality practices, and hands-on experience with data loading into SAP or similar ERP systems. You’ll work closely with senior data leads and global teams to support structured, high-quality data migration work.

Key Responsibilities

• Support data conversion and migration tasks using SAP Migration Cockpit (LTMC).
• Prepare, transform, and validate source data from legacy systems for compatibility with SAP S/4HANA target structures.
• Perform field-level mapping, cleansing, and format adjustments based on functional specifications.
• Collaborate with business analysts and functional consultants to understand data requirements.
• Assist in configuring and executing LTMC load templates and resolving load issues.
• Support mock loads, cutover activities, and post-load reconciliation processes.
• Document data mappings, business rules, and test outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in data migration or data integration projects.
• At least one project involving SAP S/4HANA or ECC data loads using SAP Migration Cockpit (LTMC) or LSMW.
• Basic understanding of SAP master and transactional data objects (e.g., materials, vendors, customers, sales orders).
• Proficiency with Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and experience using data transformation templates.
• Familiarity with ERP data structures and basic SQL for data validation or profiling.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to tools like LTMOM, LSMW, BODS, or ABAP-based load programs.
• Experience working with multiple data sources (CSV, Excel, flat files, legacy ERP exports).
• Familiarity with data governance, deduplication, or cleansing tools.
• Previous experience in global delivery teams or working with U.S.-based stakeholders.
