Overview
Job Summary:
Looking for a skilled SAP OData/UI5 Developer responsible for developing and supporting custom SAP UI5/Fiori applications and OData services. The ideal candidate should have strong front-end development skills, deep knowledge of SAP OData architecture, and the ability to integrate SAP UI5 applications with SAP backend systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop custom SAP UI5/Fiori applications based on business requirements.
- Develop, expose, and maintain SAP OData services using SAP Gateway / CDS Views.
- Integrate SAP UI5 applications with backend systems through OData services and REST APIs.
- Customize and extend standard Fiori applications where required.
- Ensure adherence to SAP Fiori design principles and UI5 best practices.
- Debug and resolve issues related to UI5 applications, OData services, and performance.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, ABAP developers, and business stakeholders for requirement gathering and solution delivery.
- Work with tools like SAP Web IDE / Business Application Studio, Eclipse, or VS Code for development.
Required Skills:
- 6+ years of experience in SAP UI5/Fiori and OData services.
- Hands-on experience in developing and consuming SAP OData services (CRUD
- operations, batch processing, deep insert, etc.).
- Experience with SAP Gateway, CDS Views, and ABAP for OData development.
- Understanding of Fiori Launchpad configuration and role-based access.
- Good knowledge of debugging tools, performance optimization, and security concepts.
- Strong expertise in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, JSON, XML.
