Scrum Master (225-618)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and certified Scrum Master to lead and guide our agile teams in developing and delivering high-quality software solutions. As a Scrum Master, you will facilitate the Agile process, coaching team members and stakeholders on agile principles and best practices. You'll work closely with the product owner to ensure backlogs are maintained and prioritized, and you will be instrumental in removing any impediments that may hinder team progress. Your role will be critical in fostering a self-organizing, cross-functional team environment and ensuring adherence to the Scrum framework. Responsibilities

• Facilitating daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Demo, and Retrospective meetings efficiently.
• Coaching team members on Agile processes and promoting the Agile culture.
• Assisting the product owner with maintaining a healthy and prioritized product backlog.
• Removing impediments that are blocking the progress of the team effectively.
• Ensuring that the team is following Agile practices and processes.
• Promoting effective communication and collaboration within the Agile team.
• Monitoring and reporting on project progress and performance metrics regularly.
• Fostering an environment of collaboration and continuous improvement within the team.
• Identifying and addressing potential risks and issues in a timely manner.
• Facilitating decision-making processes and ensuring alignment on team objectives.
• Participating in the organization’s Agile Community of Practice as a thought leader.
• Supporting initiatives related to process improvement and innovation.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Scrum Alliance certification mandatory.
• Minimum of three years' experience in a Scrum Master role preferred.
• Proven track record of leading successful Agile software development projects.
• Strong understanding of the SDLC and Agile methodologies required.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to identify and resolve conflicts swiftly and effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in using Scrum management software, like Jira or Trello.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
