External Description - Scrum Master/Product Owner

Role:

The ideal candidate will facilitate Agile processes, guide teams in best practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. You will work closely with development teams, and stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within scope. The Scrum Master/Product Owner also serves as a mediator in the Scrum team.

Responsibilities:

· Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies: Organize and lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

· Coaching: Mentor and coach teams on Agile principles, practices, and methodologies to enhance performance and collaboration.

· Impediment Removal: Identify and address obstacles that hinder team progress and work collaboratively to resolve them.

· Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between teams and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment on project goals and progress.

· Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by facilitating team reflections and implementing feedback from retrospectives.

· Metrics and Reporting: Track team performance using Agile metrics, and provide insights and reports to stakeholders.

· Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies in collaboration with the team.

· Training and Onboarding: Support the onboarding of new team members and provide ongoing training on Agile methodologies.

· Process Enforcement: Follow and promote the Agile workflow process

· Backlog Management: Maintain a well groomed and prioritized backlog to ensure the team has something to work on

Skills:

· 3+ years of Scrum/Agile or SDLC project management

· Strong knowledge of Scrum processes

· Bachelor's Degree required

· Demonstrated ability to lead a team to successful outcomes

· Balance of technical knowledge and business acumen

· Understanding of business practices and processes related to financial accounting and reporting

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy

· Strong critical thinking skills and ability to analyze and break down problems

· Demonstrated ability to take ownership, self-direct, and drive results

External Skills And Expertise -

1. Strong knowledge of     Scrum Agile processes
2. Facilitate Scrum     Ceremonies: Organize and lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning,     sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
3. Balance of technical knowledge and business acumen
4. Understanding of     business practices and processes related to financial accounting and     reporting
5. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification preferred
6. Experience on working on any Dot net project would be an added advantage
