Position Summary :

We are seeking a proactive, highly organized Scrum Master to lead agile ceremonies and support cross-functional software development teams. This role goes beyond traditional scrum facilitation.

You will also act as a project manager, helping to ensure our sprint teams are focused, efficient, and aligned to deliverables. Your responsibilities will span from team coaching to risk management and delivery tracking.

This role is ideal for a servant leader who can manage the details, anticipate blockers, and bring structure to fast-paced product development work.

Key Responsibilities

Scrum Facilitation & Agile Coaching :

• Organize and lead all scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, demos, grooming, and retrospectives.
• Promote agile best practices and support continuous improvement.
• Coach and mentor team members and Product Owners to improve agile maturity and autonomy.
  
  

Team Enablement & Protection

• Identify and remove impediments to team progress.
• Create a focused work environment by shielding the team from distractions and scope creep.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, ownership, and accountability.
  
  

Cross-functional Coordination

• Facilitate clear communication between engineering, product, and QA teams.
• Ensure sprint priorities are understood and aligned with product goals.
• Partner closely with Product Owners to maintain healthy and well-prioritized backlogs.
  
  

Project & Delivery Management

• Track team capacity and ensure tasks are properly scoped and maintained in Jira.
• Monitor sprint health and velocity to support accurate planning.
• Identify delivery risks and escalate blockers to leadership as needed.
• Maintain sprint reporting, including burn down charts, velocity tracking, and metrics.
  
  

Tools & Process

• Support Jira hygiene and process standardization.
• Help onboard new team members to agile processes and tools.
  
  

Qualifications

• 8 years experience as a Scrum Master, preferably in a SaaS or software product environment.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Strong familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and agile metrics.
• Experience with distributed or offshore teams is a plus.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and keep teams aligned.
