Scrum Master

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and organized Scrum Master with 3–4 years of experience to facilitate Agile practices across cross-functional teams. You will help remove roadblocks, promote Agile values, and ensure the team delivers high-quality outcomes through continuous improvement and collaboration. This role is ideal for someone who’s not only experienced in Agile frameworks but also curious about leveraging AI tools to drive productivity, improve sprint planning, and enhance decision-making across teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Shield the team from external distractions and remove impediments that hinder progress.
• Use AI-powered project management tools (e.g., ClickUp AI, Notion AI, Jira AI add-ons) to optimize sprint planning, backlog grooming, and reporting.
• Track team metrics and velocity using dashboards, and explore AI-based insights for forecasting and performance analysis.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and QA to ensure shared understanding and alignment on goals.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and team ownership.
• Use generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Bard) for tasks like retrospective summaries, sprint report drafts, and documentation assistance.
• Maintain up-to-date Agile artifacts such as sprint boards, burndown charts, and capacity plans.
• Coach team members in Agile mindset, delivery discipline, and ethical use of AI in daily workflows.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile facilitator.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and the Scrum framework.
• Strong facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience using Agile tools like Jira, Trello, Asana, or similar—with exposure to AI plug-ins or extensions.
• Openness to adopting AI tools to automate low-value tasks and enhance delivery planning.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with distributed teams.
• Strong sense of ownership and team motivation.

Nice to Have

• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I, or equivalent).
• Background in software development or QA is a plus.
• Experience working in fast-paced product or SaaS environments.
• Awareness of ethical AI practices, data security, and implications of using AI in Agile settings.
