What Is The Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Scrum Master to lead Agile teams in delivering high-quality IT solutions. The ideal candidate will act as a servant-leader, enabling teams to follow Agile practices effectively, fostering collaboration, and driving the successful delivery of IT projects. This role will require a deep understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies, technical acuity, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

What You Will Be Doing

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coach and mentor Agile teams to improve their understanding and execution of Agile principles and practices.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure that product backlogs are prioritized, well-defined, and ready for sprints.
• Identify and remove impediments to team progress, ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Promote a culture of continuous growth by regularly tracking team progress and supporting improvement efforts.
• Foster open communication and transparency within the team and with business partners.
• Guide the team in achieving high performance while maintaining focus on business objectives.
• Work closely with IT leadership to align Agile practices with organizational goals and deliverables.
• Regularly share project updates—such as sprint progress, team velocity, and key metrics—with the team to keep everyone informed.
• Assist in identifying dependencies, risks, and challenges, providing solutions to mitigate them proactively.
  
  

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
• 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in an IT or software development environment.
• Solid understanding of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
• Hands-on experience with Agile tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Excellent facilitation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced IT environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration within and across teams.
  
  

Bonus Points:

• Experience in DevOps or IT operations.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, software development lifecycles (SDLC), and IT infrastructure.
• Experience with BigQuery, ServiceNow, and/or Mulesoft.
• Advanced certifications such as Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM), SAFe Scrum Master, or PMI-ACP.
• Background in IT project management or technical leadership roles.
