Job Description – Scrum Master

We’re seeking a passionate Scrum Master to join our team and play a key role in coaching, training, and shaping our department, driving greater agility and maturity across the organization. You will be joining a dedicated team of Scrum Masters and will be working to assist the teams within the DSP (Digital Service Platform) to new heights. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in guiding and coaching our Agile teams to deliver high-quality solutions as well as supporting the department. You will be working closely with Product Owners, DevOps teams and the leadership to ensure the successful implementation of Agile practices and principles.

The right candidate will display key interpersonal and leadership qualities. You practice active listening and empathy to uncover underlying issues, resolve conflicts early, and foster team growth through coaching and mentoring. Beyond standard ceremonies, you lead impactful workshops and retrospectives and are not afraid to challenge individuals or leadership constructively when behaviors or decisions hinder agility.

Key aspects in this role are

• Act as a true leader who empowers the team to self-organize, grow, and deliver value while embodying Scrum principles and values.
• Be an ambassador for Scrum and Agile practices, focusing on the Scrum Values and guide teams to full mastery.
• Provides coaching and guidance to your teams, including the why, not just the how.
• Proactively facilitate conflict resolution, coach individuals and the team toward continuous improvement, and foster an environment of trust, focus, and accountability.
• Constantly look for ways to foster collaboration within the team.
• Grasp of different frameworks like LeSS, SAFe to operate in a multi-team environment.
• Use metrics and KPIs to steer and encourage improvement.
• Partner closely with the Product Owner to protect sprint integrity, advocate for the team, and ensure sustainable delivery aligned with customer value.
  
  

The qualifications we are looking in a Scrum Master are

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
• Certified PSM-1 and PSM-2 or equivalent certifications.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a dedicated Scrum Master.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, coaching and conflict resolution skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively with cross-function and cross-regional teams.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
