Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Lead/Backend Lead (SDE-3) to join our core engineering team. In this role, you will architect, design, and develop scalable web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) and modern cloud-native technologies. You will take ownership of end-to-end feature delivery, mentor developers, and contribute to shaping the technical roadmap of our digital health platform.
Key Responsibilities
• End-to-End Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications.
• Architecture Leadership: Drive system design and architecture discussions for complex product features.
• Code Quality: Deliver clean, efficient, testable, and maintainable code across frontend and backend.
• Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior and mid-level engineers; conduct regular code reviews.
• Collaboration: Partner with product managers, designers, QA, and infrastructure teams to deliver features on time.
• Performance & Security: Continuously optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
• DevOps & CI/CD: Own deployment pipelines, automate workflows, and support production reliability.
• Innovation: Champion best practices, modern frameworks, and new technologies across the engineering team.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in building full-stack applications or backend systems.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript with frameworks like React, Next.js (or equivalent).
• Backend development experience with Node.js, Express.js (or similar).
• Hands-on experience with both SQL (PostgreSQL/MS-SQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization usingDocker/Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar) and automation.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills with leadership ability.
