BCDR Security Analyst - GRC
The BCDR Analyst delivers comprehensive business continuity and disaster recovery services across the organization. The analyst is responsible for operating the current resilience program, identifying opportunities to enhance strategies, and implementing improvements to strengthen organizational preparedness. This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and other critical functions to ensure robust continuity planning, risk management, and recovery capabilities across the enterprise.

This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and other critical functions to ensure robust continuity planning, risk management, and recovery capabilities across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
Plan Development & Implementation:
- Design and maintain comprehensive BCDR plans.
- Identify critical business functions and establish recovery time objectives (RTOs) and recovery point objectives (RPOs).
- Collaborate with IT, security, and business units to align recovery strategies.
- Develop standardized templates for BCDR plans, risk assessments, and recovery procedures to ensure consistency across business units.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input and tailor templates and decks to specific business needs.
- Administer backup and replication systems.
- Monitor and optimize cloud-based and on-premises recovery environments.
- Conduct regular health checks and software upgrades.
- Testing & Validation:
- Coordinating with IT Infra teams & following up on performing regular failovers, failbacks, and recovery testing.
- Analyze test results and update plans to address gaps.
- Lead response efforts during disruptions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure swift recovery.
- Educate staff on BCDR protocols.
- Promote a culture of preparedness.
- Ensure alignment with industry standards (e.g., ISO 22301).
- Create executive-level presentation decks to communicate BCDR strategies, testing outcomes, and risk mitigation plans to stakeholders and leadership.
- Maintain and update documentation repositories, ensuring version control and accessibility for audits and compliance reviews
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, a related field, or an equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in BCDR, infrastructure, or equivalent.
- Relevant certifications such ISO 22301\CDRE\CBCP or similar and cloud certifications are highly desirable.
- Strong logical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Extensive knowledge of BCDR, cloud DR, and IT infrastructure
