Position Summary
Senior Analyst – Data Engineering – The Reporting Hub – Deloitte Support Services India Pvt. Ltd.
The Organization
Central Business Services (CBS) is part of the Enabling Functions (EF) service line supporting the whole of Deloitte UK.It provides services to the UK Firm including HR, Quality, IT, Sourcing and Service Management.
The Reporting Hub sits within the Service Management capability of CBS and was created through consolidating smaller reporting teams across the UK and India into a single entity to create resilience, knowledge and economies of processing.It provides Reporting Services to CBS including:
- Data Engineering-Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and storage solutions, ensuring data quality and integration from various sources. They optimize data workflows for performance, collaborate with stakeholders, and implement security measures.
- DEVELOP – Report development using standard tools including Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, Tableau and ServiceNow.
- RUN Processing – Data extraction, processing and reports distribution.
- Insights – Perform the role of Business Partner by managing all central data, reporting, and analytical requirements, ensuring seamless integration and actionable insights for informed decision-making.
- The Senior Analyst will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the team acting with others to ensure data is processed on time using a variety of different technologies and methods.The delivery of the data to the Business is paramount to the success of the wider Reporting Hub Team.
- The role requires a high degree of engagement with the enabling service areas, effective teamwork, and ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.This in turn will allow The Reporting Hub to recommend improvements to existing data and reporting methods in terms of time to execute and Customer Satisfaction.

Stakeholder Engagement
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with key stakeholders within the Business.
- Handle all data in line with agreed Data Privacy processes both physically and virtually.
- Act as part of a multidisciplinary team either leading or participating in operational deliverables.
- Analyse issues & problems with the Business and document clear solution requirements for Client signoff.
- Develop reports and dashboards in-line with standard development methodologies.
- Test and Quality Assure work in line with agreed standards.
- Deploy solutions in line with agreed governance procedures.
- Identification and timely escalation of issues.
- Ensuring all issues have appropriate remedial / mitigations in place to maintain successful operations.
- Supporting in the oversight and monitoring of key issues and providing key metrics.
Required:
- Education:
- Degree in business / engineering / math with a focus in quantitative methods and/or equivalent working experience in the data, reporting & analytics space
- Interpersonal Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

- Professional Experience:
- Extensive (3+ Years) experience in designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines using SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), ensuring seamless integration and transformation of data from diverse sources.
- Proficient in implementing and monitoring data quality frameworks, performing data validation, cleansing, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and reliability across integrated systems.
- Skilled in orchestrating end-to-end ETL processes, leveraging SSIS for data extraction, transformation, and loading, as well as automating workflows through CI/CD pipelines for streamlined deployment and maintenance.
- Advanced skills in DAX and M Query for complex data modeling, calculations, and transformation within Power BI.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with MS SQL Server (2019/2022), including query optimization, transaction management, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views, with a strong focus on performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Proven ability to integrate and manage data from multiple sources, utilizing SSIS and other tools to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
- Advanced skills in DAX and M Query for complex data modeling, calculations, and transformation within Power BI.
- Experience in scheduling and managing data refresh cycles, optimizing report performance, and reducing data load times for enhanced user experience.
- Successfully delivered at least two end-to-end data engineering projects, from requirements gathering to deploying the product.
