Job DescriptionAs a Senior IT On-Site Support Engineer in WSP you will provide aadvanced, hands-on IT support to our end users. This role is responsible for resolving complex end-user computing issues, supporting critical business operations, mentoring junior engineers, and acting as a key escalation point for incidents, VIP support, and site-related IT initiatives. The role ensures high service quality, SLA adherence, and compliance with IT security and operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced L2/L3 on-site and remote support for incidents, service requests, and break/fix activities.
- Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, OS, network, and collaboration issues.
- Provide priority and VIP support, acting as an escalation point when required.
- Support end-user devices and workplace technologies including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, meeting rooms, AV, video conferencing, VPN, and VDI.
- Identify recurring issues, perform root cause analysis, and support problem management initiatives.
- Contribute to standardization of support processes, documentation, and knowledge articles.
- Support major incidents and local change activities with minimal business disruption.
- Support site moves, expansions, new office setups, and technology refresh initiatives.
- Provide clear, professional communication and technical guidance to business users and stakeholders.
- Guide and mentor junior on-site engineers and provide technical assistance when required.
- Share knowledge and best practices to improve overall team capability and service quality.
- Ensure SLA/KPI adherence (response time, resolution time, CSAT, backlog aging).
- Drive consistent process execution aligned to ITSM/ITIL practices (Incident, Request, Problem, Change).
- Standardize support procedures, knowledge articles, imaging/build processes, and site readiness checklists.
- Ensure endpoints comply with security baselines (encryption, EDR, patching, device compliance).
- Maintain accurate hardware/software asset inventory (CMDB updates, audits).
- Providing extensive support for new joiner’s systems onboarding and offboarding regarding hardware and software applications.
Technical Experience:
- Excellent troubleshooting knowledge of hardware and software’s (Desktop, laptops, printers, Wi-Fi/Network, office applications installation and configuration).
- Experience with endpoint management tools (Intune, SCCM/MECM, JAMF), EDR tools (Defender/CrowdStrike), and patching.
- Experience supporting meeting rooms (Teams Rooms/Zoom Rooms), AV and conferencing environments.
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service and communication abilities
- Time management and prioritization in high-pressure environments
- Team collaboration and mentoring mindset
- Good knowledge on request management, incident management and change management from ServiceNow ticketing tool.

- Endpoint: Intune / MECM / Autopilot
- Identity: AD / Azure AD / Entra ID, MFA, (awareness)
- Collaboration: Microsoft Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint
- Security: Microsoft Defender, disk encryption, patching tools
- Remote Support: TeamViewer / Beyond Trust / Quick Assist
- Networking: Wi-Fi troubleshooting, switches/AP basics, VPN, DNS/DHCP
- BCA/ BTech / Graduate Science.
- ITIL V4 Foundation certified.
- Certification in MD100, MCSA or MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) or similar technologies.
