About the role:

As a Senior Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow to design, configure, and optimize intelligent AI-powered search and retrieval systems using Kore.ai SearchAI. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in LLM-powered retrieval architectures, content ingestion pipelines, chunking strategies, retrieval quality evaluation, and enterprise AI search optimization.

This role will play a key part in enabling next-generation AI experiences by improving search relevance, retrieval accuracy, and content intelligence across enterprise platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and optimize Kore.ai SearchAI pipelines for enterprise AI search use cases
• Design and implement effective chunking strategies for structured and unstructured enterprise content
• Manage content ingestion workflows and retrieval optimization for LLM-based search systems
• Perform retrieval quality testing, relevance evaluation, and response accuracy analysis
• Support migration activities from SearchAssist to SearchAI platforms
• Validate enterprise content against technical standards and ingestion requirements
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve search relevance and user experience
• Analyze retrieval patterns and optimize AI search performance using data-driven insights
• Troubleshoot indexing, ingestion, retrieval, and ranking-related issues
• Collaborate with AI/ML teams to enhance semantic search and agentic AI capabilities

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Kore.ai SearchAI / SearchAssist platforms
• Hands-on expertise in:
  • Content chunking strategies
  • AI search pipelines
  • Retrieval optimization
  • Semantic search systems
  • Experience working with LLM-powered retrieval systems and RAG architectures
• Strong understanding of:
  • Vector search
  • Embeddings
  • AI content ingestion pipelines
  • Search relevance tuning
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong programming skills in Python
  • Experience with REST APIs and enterprise integrations
  • Understanding of unstructured content processing and indexing
  • Experience with retrieval quality testing and evaluation frameworks
  • Knowledge of prompt engineering and AI workflow orchestration

Desirable:

• Exposure to Agentic AI frameworks and autonomous AI workflows
• Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, or FAISS
• Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar AI orchestration frameworks
• Understanding of AI governance and content validation standards
