Overview
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automation Test Engineer with strong experience in .NET-based testing tools, Playwright for .NET, and REST API automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust test automation frameworks and ensuring high test coverage across web applications and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using C# and Playwright for .NET.
- Implement and maintain unit and integration tests using NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest.
- Design and manage scalable, reusable, and maintainable test automation frameworks.
- Automate testing of REST APIs using RestSharp or HttpClient.
- Handle JSON and XML data for request/response validation.
- Perform cross-browser testing using Playwright for different environments and configurations.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, preferably with Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with developers and QA team members to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Use Git for version control and code collaboration.
Secondary Skills:
- Experience with Postman or Swagger for manual and automated API testing.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps Pipelines for test automation integration.
- Basic SQL skills for test data validation and backend checks.
- Exposure to Service Bus Explorer for message validation and service communication testing.
Required Skills:
- Strong programming experience in C#.
- Proven experience with Playwright for .NET in a test automation role.
- Solid understanding of test automation best practices and test lifecycle.
- Familiarity with RESTful services, API testing strategies, and related tools.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
