Senior AWS DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS CI/CD, automation, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and deployment. The role will focus on designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and automated cloud environments to support enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure for high availability and scalability.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS DevOps toolsets (CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy) or equivalent.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools.
• Manage application deployments, ensuring minimal downtime and high reliability.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Troubleshoot performance, security, and deployment issues across cloud environments.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer in AWS environments.
• Strong skills in AWS CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure design.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and ECS/EKS.
• Proficiency with scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions (CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of AWS security best practices and compliance requirements.

Desirable

• AWS certification (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional or similar).
• Experience in government or highly regulated environments.
