Project description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Azure Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud-based data engineering and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data solutions using Azure services. The role requires hands-on experience with ADF (Azure Data Factory), Databricks, and other Azure technologies, along with expertise in Python and SQL.

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable data pipelines and workflows using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.

Implement and manage data integration solutions using Azure Logic Apps and Azure DevOps for CI/CD processes.

Develop scripts and tools in Python to support data transformations and automation.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand data requirements and deliver efficient solutions.

Optimize and maintain SQL databases and write complex queries to support analytical and reporting needs.

Work within a Scaled Agile framework to deliver projects in an iterative and collaborative manner.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in data pipelines and systems.

Skills

Must have

Strong experience with Azure Data Factory and Databricks.

Proficiency in Azure Logic Apps and Azure DevOps.

Solid programming skills in Python for data processing and automation.

Expertise in SQL for data analysis and optimization.

Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework and Agile practices.

Proven ability to design and implement end-to-end data solutions in a cloud environment.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.

Nice to have

Experience in implementing secure and efficient data solutions in Azure.

Familiarity with API integrations and event-driven architectures.

Certifications in Azure Data Engineering or related fields are a plus.
