Impact
The Analyst for Patch Management will be responsible for driving the analysis, reporting, and coordination of patching and remediation activities across endpoint systems. This role will work closely with infrastructure, security, and compliance teams to ensure timely risk reduction, regulatory adherence, and effective prioritization of patch deployments.
Key Deliverables (Duties and Responsibilities)
Collect, analyze, and interpret patch management data (e.g., vulnerability scan results, compliance dashboards, patching KPIs).
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide leadership visibility into patch compliance, exceptions, and risk posture.
Partner with security and infrastructure teams to align patching efforts with organizational risk management priorities.
Coordinate across multiple groups (infrastructure, application owners, operations, and risk/compliance) to ensure smooth execution of patching cycles.
Facilitate governance meetings, track remediation progress, and escalate delays or risks.
Support audit and compliance requirements by ensuring accurate documentation and evidence of patching activities.
Identify process gaps and propose improvements to streamline patch management lifecycle

Skills and Qualification (Functional and Technical Skills)
Must have
- 7+ years of IT experience in coordinating with multiple teams for key IT security deliverables tracking and reporting.
- Strong experience in data analysis and reporting (Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau or equivalent tools).
- Knowledge of patch management processes, vulnerability management, and IT compliance frameworks.
- Ability to translate technical patch/vulnerability data into business impact for prioritization.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.
- Experience working with ITSM and patching tools (e.g., ServiceNow, SCCM, BigFix, Tanium, Qualys, CrowdStrike, or similar).
- Strong organizational skills to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience working over Windows 10/11 platform and strong understanding of IT Key words associated with patching activities like vulnerability, CVEs, risk score etc.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data consolidation) including Word and power-point.
- Strong understanding of vulnerabilities and associated data and patch management processes.
- Familiarity with end-point scanning tools such as Qualys (or similar vulnerability management tools).
- Experience with reporting tools like Power BI.
- Knowledge of ITIL framework (Incident, Change, Problem, security exception Management).
- Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in Python language for data messaging/processing and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, with a "can-do" attitude and comfort working with ambiguity.
- Strong customer service skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Ensure great Partnership with IT counterparts (India as well as US associates).
- Be available for team connects if any.
