Position: Senior Business Analyst Reports to: Delivery Manager/Business head

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Requirements Analysis

• Analyze internal and client requests to ensure business requirements are fully clarified and documented.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications utilized by software developers to build product functionality and associated
• Maintain document control system to track all documentation changes and updates in accordance with defined standards.
• Ensure consistency across all documentation deliverables.

Testing and Quality Assurance

• Work with technical team to ensure software development results meet business requirements and align with expected outcomes.
• Complete testing, documentation, and delivery of software products to client and/ or internal teams based upon planned timelines.
• Support internal testing lifecycle by writing and executing test cases and documenting testing results of system fixes, enhancements, and new functionality.
• Collaborate with internal team and client resources on user acceptance testing and any associated support.

Communications

• Directly communicate with clients and/ or internal support team regarding defect fixes, improvements of existing functionality, and development of new capabilities.
• Document software product change requests submitted by clients and internal resources for software enhancements and new functionality.
• Serve as a product liaison between client/ internal support team and development team to facilitate communications regarding functional/ business requirements (including process improvements) and any associated feedback on client requests.

Other

• Actively participate in team meetings and requirements reviews by offering ideas, suggestions, and/or feedback as needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Product Development Team

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE):

• Excellent documentation (including training materials) skills.
• Proven analytical, design, and conceptual skills in software development.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Ability to proactively take ownership of tasks and deliverables.
• Experience working both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience working in a virtual, remote environment.
• Experience using multiple documentation tools to write, format, manage, and publish high-quality content.
• Previous use of agile project management methodologies such as Scrum.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft office products.
