Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Business Analyst with expertise in PHP-based platforms, including Shopify and WordPress. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in gathering and analyzing requirements, writing BRDs/FRDs, and working closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

You should be comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments, managing tasks through Jira, and translating business needs into scalable, actionable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
• Prepare detailed BRDs (Business Requirement Documents) and FRDs (Functional Requirement Documents).
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and QA teams to ensure business objectives are met.
• Act as the bridge between business teams and developers for projects using PHP, WordPress, and Shopify.
• Facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Use Jira to manage user stories, bugs, and sprint tasks.
• Assist in creating SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for recurring workflows and support processes.
• Identify gaps in existing processes and recommend improvements for efficiency.
• Ensure successful implementation of solutions by participating in user acceptance testing (UAT).

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a web development or eCommerce environment.
• Strong expertise in PHP, WordPress, and Shopify platforms.
• Proven experience in writing BRDs and FRDs.
• Deep understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Jira or similar project management tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical language and vice versa.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have:

• Basic technical knowledge in PHP or front-end development.
• Experience working with third-party APIs and integrations.
• Familiarity with tools like Trello, Confluence, or Figma.
