Senior Business Analyst

Job Summary - As a Senior Business Analyst specializing in both pre-sales and post-sales software implementation, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful scoping, deployment, and integration of software solutions for our clients. Your responsibilities will span the entire customer journey from supporting the sales team in understanding client needs and crafting solution proposals, through to managing requirements, facilitating communication, and optimizing processes during the implementation phase. Ultimately, your work will drive customer satisfaction, win rates, and project success.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Sales Business Analysis

• Requirements Discovery (Pre-Sales) - Collaborate with prospective clients, sales teams, and solution architects to gather preliminary requirements through workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions.
• Solution Scoping - Translate business challenges into high-level solution outlines, ensuring proposed software capabilities align with customer needs and organizational goals.
• RFP/RFI Support - Lead the preparation and submission of business and technical inputs for RFPs/RFIs, including requirement breakdowns, functional specifications, and implementation approach.
• Business Case Development - Create ROI analyses, cost-benefit assessments, and high-level implementation roadmaps to support sales proposals.
• Competitive & Market Analysis - Research competitors’ offerings and industry trends to position our solution effectively in client pitches and proposals.
• Sales-to-Delivery Handover - Ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales commitments to delivery teams by documenting agreed requirements, scope boundaries, and success metrics.

Post-Sales Business Analysis & Implementation

• Requirements Gathering - Collaborate with clients to gather detailed requirements and translate them into epics and user stories that guide the development and implementation process using tools or standard BA documentation.
• Implementation Oversight - Work closely with project managers and technical teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to implementation, addressing any challenges that arise during onboarding. Support the technical team in sprint ceremonies.
• Epic and User Story Creation - Draft, prioritize, and refine user stories and epics based on client needs and feedback, ensuring alignment with project goals and Agile methodologies.
• Change Request Management - Manage change requests throughout the implementation process, assessing impact, documenting changes, and coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
• Project Documentation - Maintain comprehensive documentation, including implementation plans, requirement specifications, and user manuals.
• Low-Fidelity Wireframing - Create wireframes to visualize proposed solutions and gather feedback from clients and internal teams.
• Process Optimization - Identify opportunities to improve post-sales workflows for greater efficiency in software deployment and integration.
• Stakeholder Engagement - Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the implementation process, ensuring alignment and proactive communication.
• Continuous Improvement - Gather feedback to recommend enhancements to processes, tools, and functionalities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Master’s degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in business analysis, spanning both pre-sales and post-sales phases in software projects.
• Proven experience supporting sales teams with solution scoping, RFP/RFI responses, and business case creation.
• Past experience working with AI and Data Science is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on project execution and customer experience.
• Proficiency with software project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana) and wireframing tools (e.g., Balsamiq, Figma).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience with Agile project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum) is highly desirable.
