Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst (Technical) to drive requirement discovery, process/solution design support, and delivery alignment across business and technical teams. You will report directly to the VP Change Management, partnering cross-functionally with product, engineering, data, and operations to translate business outcomes into clear, testable functional specifications and user stories.
This is a high-ownership role for someone who enjoys ambiguity, deep process thinking, and crisp documentation, and who can act as the “glue” between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of change initiatives across systems, processes, and teams.
- Work closely with change leads and content operations team, as well as cross-functional stakeholders to deliver improvement.
- Ask thoughtful, critical questions to challenge assumptions and surface barriers to change.
- Assist in creating communication plans, training resources, and engagement materials that support adoption.
- Help track progress, gather feedback, and adjust approaches based on team and stakeholder input.
- Contribute to post-project reviews and ongoing improvement efforts.
- Document requirements clearly using BRDs/FRDs, process flows, and decision/rule matrices.
- Convert complex business rules into well-structured epics, features, and user stories with acceptance criteria
- Ensure stories are testable, unambiguous, and aligned to business outcomes.
- Maintain traceability from business goals → requirements → user stories → delivered functionality
- Create/own UAT strategy, test scenarios, and test cases; coordinate UAT execution with business users.
- Validate delivered solutions against acceptance criteria and business rules
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (B.E./B.Tech/BSc/MCA/BA/BCom etc. — no strict stream requirement if experience is strong).
- 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst / Technical BA / Functional Analyst in large programs or product environments
- Strong critical thinking and interpersonal skills.
- Interest in life sciences, data, or health-related industries is a plus.
- Experience working on multiple projects to strict deadlines / timelines
- Adept at communicating complex ideas
- A desire to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders
- Ability to be flexible and multi-task in fast-paced environment
- Work collaboratively with a team in a hybrid/virtual environment across several time zones during the same 24h period
- A curious and analytical thinker who enjoys solving problems and improving how things work.
- Comfortable questioning existing processes and engaging others in open, constructive dialogue.
- A clear communicator who builds strong relationships across teams.
- Organized, adaptable, and motivated to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
- Strong ability to translate business needs into functional specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Experience working with Agile delivery teams and tools (Jira/Confluence or equivalents)
- Solid understanding of systems + data flows (APIs, integrations, databases at a conceptual level).
- Exposure to pharma, life sciences, health tech, content operations, regulatory or quality-driven domains.
- Familiarity with process modeling tools (Visio, Lucidchart, BPMN) and basic SQL/data querying.
