Overview

Our Vision :

Agrim is an asset-light agri-inputs e-commerce platform for retailers. We recently raised $20.5 million in Series B funding from Asia Impact and BII to enhance our technology, expand our product offerings, and scale operations.

Our journey:

Agrim in a fast-growing agri-tech startup building an on-demand B2B Agri-inputs

marketplace. Agri-inputs is a $50bn industry spread across Seeds, Agro Chemicals,

Fertilizers, Agro-Tools and Animal Feed. AGRIM has scaled up rapidly across India,

with 10% of the overall customer universe already on-boarded on the platform.

Having closed our Series B round of funding (to be announced publicly in the coming

weeks) with Tier-1 investors, we are very well capitalized. Our Founders are IIT/ IIM

graduates and ex-entrepreneurs (with successful exits) and we have also built one of

the best start-up teams, with senior executives from Tier-1 education institutes,

e-commerce companies such as Amazon, Hopscotch, Policy Bazaar, etc. and

experienced industry professionals from the agriculture sector

Role:

This role sits at the intersection of business, data, and technology—turning raw data into insights that drive strategic decision-making across the company.

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst (Data Algorithms) who will play a critical role in solving high-impact business problems by designing and building algorithms for our platform.

This is not a “maintenance” role. You’ll be expected to dive into messy, real-world challenges, design first-principle solutions, and drive business impact through data-led decision making.

Key Responsibilities include

• Solve Challenging and Muddy problems everaging the Fundamentals of Data Science and Analytics. You need to have hunger to bring change in the organization leveraging the power of Data
• Experience building and designing complex Problems
• Design & execute experiments and analyze experimental results
• Ensure end to end problem solving from designing phase to execution Phase and driving Consumption
• You need to work closely with Business to create Business Impact, not just share Insights

Requirements

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to justify requirements
• Exposure to Machine learning Algorithms to solve complex problems and create business Impact
• 3-5 years of experience in a role involving data extraction, analysis, Building Algorithms, and Problem Solving
• Proficiency in solving Problems using First Principle Approach
• You never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and tackle something hands-on, you persevere when others fall away
• A keen learner and willing to adapt to new environments
• Can lead, work independently as well as play a key role in a team

Good to Have Requirements

• Experise with Python and SQL for analytics or automation.
• Knowledge of AWS (S3, Athena, Glue, Lambda) or GCP/Azure equivalents.
• Familiarity with event-based systems like Mixpanel
• Understanding of data modeling and dimensional modeling (Star/Snowflake schema).
• Exposure to version control (Git) and documentation tools
