
Overview
We are seeking Business analyst with experience in capital market and security services (Cash Financing Solutions) to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- As a senior SME / BA to work with the business, control and support function stakeholders to enable the execution of all Cash Financing Solutions book of work across the London/Paris/Hong Kong/Tokyo/ Sydney/Dubai/Mexico/China (Shanghai)/Singapore/India regions
- Working closely with the project manager, the BA will define both the technical and operating model requirements needed to enable successful delivery of migration of the business.
- Working closely with senior Sales/Trading global and regional partner stakeholders that utilize the Vesper platform: Markets Treasury (Non-Ring Fenced), Structured Products (SIP), Collateral Operations (Repo and OTC Derivatives).
- Analysis of all business processes required for the business on ongoing projects and deliveries globally for Cash Financing Solutions.
- Ascertain with IT the architecture that needs deployment to accommodate the new business.
- Co-ordinate and ensure completion of specifications and other documentation required by business and I.T.
- Interact with Front Office representatives and control functions and lead them in defining/documenting their requirements.
- Help to define the approach to the migration process.
- Assist in definition of test cases for User Acceptance Testing; Determine and document workflows.
- Work with the project manager to roll out the strategic infrastructure.
- Work with the project team on prioritization and management of all deliverables within the portfolio.
- Work in an extremely integrated way with the senior stakeholders in the Front Office (Sales, Trading and Structuring), as well as the Market Risk, Operations Finance.
- Drives quick decisions based on available data and input.
- Ability to work to set priorities to meet required objectives through being pro-active and accountable.
- Ability to operate as a team member who is focused on delivery within tight timescales.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Excellent and proven ability to turn business outcome requirements into tangible technology deliveries which our global non-SME engineers can develop.
- Proven successful track record within the Financing Business Analyst world delivering FI programmes F2B.
- Demonstrable expert knowledge on Fixed Income Products/ Bonds Repo/ Equity Products/ Collateral Treasury.
- Have specifically worked with Martini/ Vesper Products
- Full understanding of Digital execution & MTF connectivity.
- Full knowledge of Operations, Finance and Risk system flows on multi balance sheets.
- Demonstrable deliveries of new products / Reg deliverables.
- Excellent organisational skills, particularly in the context of requirements specifications.
- Ability to navigate the organisation and personnel.
- Worked on significant transformation activities including balance sheet migrations, new products Regulatory programmes.
- Ability to influence outside of reporting line.
- Proven track record of effectively resolving issues and conflicts to ensure timely delivery.
- Ability to co-ordinate effectively across geographically dispersed project and stakeholder teams.
- Ability to work closely with business users and IT staff to identify requirements, determine and document solutions to meet the go live day target.
- Excellent Business Analyst Skills and full understanding of all Fixed Income Products including, bond pricing, bond cashflow calculations, RWA calculations/ Stock Loan Buy Sell backs / Fee trades Collateral management.
- Excellent grasp of the full trade lifecycles F2B.
- Exhibits robust judgement, decision making and is resilient to change.
- Strong problem-solving capability, able to multi-task well under pressure and manage times of ambiguity.
- Knowledge of working using multiple project methodologies /Agile/ Waterfall/ etc.
- Ability to drive an agenda and consensus across multi-functional and cross-regional teams.
- Drive and encourages cross-country and cross-business teamwork.
- Communicates clearly and concisely ensuring issues are escalated and understood.
