The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of policy management, billing, and accounting modules, with additional experience in Quote Rating & Submissions and Policy Lifecycle workflows being highly desirable.

collaboration with both technical teams and business stakeholders, and is ideal for someone who thrives in a techno-functional environment, blending business acumen with technical expertise, particularly in insurance software and data.

Job Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate requirements gathering and business discovery sessions with US-based
clients for insurance processes. - Conduct requirements analysis and gap assessments against core system capabilities.
- Develop detailed BRDs and Functional Specifications.
- Design insurance workflow solutions aligned with client business needs.
- Facilitate the configuration and maintenance of insurance workflows and forms in pre-built
policy and claims applications. - Engage in the implementation of insurance software, ensuring alignment with business
needs. - Provide technical expertise at a database level, focusing on data understanding and
querying. - Document system integration requirements and support interface mapping activities. Work
on integrating core insurance applications to other applications, insurance rates, databases,
APIs. - Analyze data mappings and perform triage of data-related errors and integration issues.
- Collaborate closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure accurate
translation of business requirements into system design. - Assist and collaborate in business functional testing and support client’s User Acceptance
Testing (UAT) initiatives.
Essential Skills
- Prior experience with configuration or implementation methodologies of packaged US-based insurance products.
- Strong domain knowledge in policy issuance, billing, accounting, and policy lifecycle
workflows. - Familiarity with Quote Rating & Submissions processes and their impact on downstream modules.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major P&C insurance core suite (e.g., Insurity,
Duckcreek, Majesco, Insuresoft, Guidewire, Vertafore MGA Systems, Origami). - Proficiency in writing BRDs, functional specifications, workflow designs, and user stories.
- Experience with SQL for querying and data validation.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interface directly with clients.
- Ability to work in cross-functional implementation teams involving configuration analysts, testers, developers, and client SMEs.
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and methodologies such as
Scrum and Waterfall.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with commercial lines in insurance will be a plus.
Education Requirements
- Insurance certifications (e.g., AINS, CPCU) are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
