Senior Data Analyst - SAP HANA

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst with 4+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in handling data from various sources, supporting business users with queries, running and optimizing SQL scripts, and generating actionable insights through analysis and visualization.

This role requires strong expertise in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools, along with hands-on experience in SAP HANA, Snowflake, and SAP BODs. The analyst will play a critical role in supporting stakeholders by ensuring data accuracy, responding to data-related questions, and producing meaningful reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Querying & Analysis
  
  

Write, optimize, and execute complex SQL queries in SAP HANA and Snowflake.

Extract, transform, and analyze large datasets to support business requirements.

Validate and reconcile data across multiple systems to ensure accuracy and consistency.

• Business Support
  
  

Respond to ad-hoc data-related questions and support requests from stakeholders.

Provide insights and recommendations through clear reports and presentations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, Product, etc.) to understand their data needs and deliver timely solutions.

• ETL & Data Management
  
  

Use SAP BODs (basic level) to support data extraction and loading activities.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data-related issues in coordination with technical teams.

Assist in maintaining data pipelines and workflows where necessary.

• Reporting & Visualization
  
  

Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent).

Present data in a clear, concise, and actionable manner tailored to business users.

• Process Improvement
  
  

Identify opportunities to improve existing data processes and tools.

Support data governance, quality, and documentation efforts.

Contribute to standardization of reporting and analysis methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: 4 to 6 years as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.

SAP HANA – Proficient in querying and performance optimization.

Snowflake – Beginner-level understanding with ability to learn quickly.

SAP BODs – Beginner-level knowledge of ETL processes.

• Technical Skills:
  
  

Strong SQL skills with ability to write and optimize queries on large datasets.

Advanced MS Excel (Pivot tables, complex formulas, Power Query, etc.).

Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).

• Analytical Skills: Excellent ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication for engaging with stakeholders and presenting findings.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot data issues, investigate root causes, and provide timely resolutions.
