Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Analyst/Engineer with a strong background in Python programming and Power BI development. The ideal candidate will have at least 5-7 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, visualization, and manipulation, with a focus on using Python for data processing and Power BI for creating interactive reports and dashboards.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain Python scripts and applications for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
2. Design and implement data models and databases to support business requirements.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data analysis needs and translate them into technical requirements.
4. Utilize Power BI to create visually appealing and interactive reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
5. Optimize data processing pipelines and workflows for efficiency and scalability.
6. Perform data quality assessments and implement data cleansing and validation procedures.
7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis, visualization, and business intelligence technologies.
8. Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance and support as needed.
9. Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through presentations and reports.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data analysis, engineering, or a related role.
3. Proficiency in Python programming language and experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and SciPy for data manipulation and analysis.
4. Strong experience in developing Power BI reports and dashboards, including data modeling, DAX calculations, and visualization best practices.
5. Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL for querying and manipulating data.
6. Experience with data visualization tools and techniques, as well as a strong eye for design and usability.
7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
8. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Familiarity with data governance and security best practices.
2. Certifications in Python programming, Power BI, or related technologies.
3. SSRS and SSIS knowledge is preferred
