Senior Data Engineer - Power BI and Power Apps

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Power Platform Developer with solid hands-on experience in both Power BI and Power Apps. The ideal candidate will play a key role in building interactive dashboards, low-code apps, and workflow automation by connecting to enterprise data sources including Azure SQL, Dataverse, and Databricks.

Primary Responsibilities

• Power BI:
• • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and paginated reports
  • Build efficient data models, write optimized DAX expressions, and apply Power Query transformations
  • Connect to and transform data from Azure SQL, Dataverse, SharePoint, and Databricks
  • Implement row-level security, data refresh strategies, and performance tuning of datasets
  • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and visualize KPIs, trends, and operational metrics
• Power Apps:
• Develop scalable Canvas and Model-driven apps to automate business processes
• Integrate apps with Dataverse, SharePoint, Azure SQL, and other third-party systems
• Build custom forms, galleries, and logic with Power Fx and controls for intuitive UX
• Leverage Power Automate to implement approval workflows, notifications, and integrations
• General:
• Participate in the full SDLC - requirement gathering, development, testing, deployment, and support
• Ensure governance, security compliance, and best practices across the Power Platform
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously enhance solutions based on feedback
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven experience in Power BI and Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven)
• Experience with Azure SQL, Dataverse, SharePoint, and Databricks
• Exposure to CI/CD practices in Power Platform (e.g., ALM, Solution Deployment)
• Proficiency in DAX, Power Query
• Solid understanding of data modelling, visualization best practices, and app performance tuning
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certifications: PL-300 (Power BI), PL-400 (Power Platform Developer)
• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, or Git-based source control
• Knowledge of Power Platform governance, custom connectors, or environment strategy
