As a Senior / Data Engineer you will be responsible to deliver in an individual contributor role’s capacity. Here is a breakdown:
Location Type: Hybrid
This role offers a balanced arrangement, with the expectation of working 3 days a week in our local office and the flexibility to work from home for the remaining days. It is essential that you reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the office location for the in-office workdays.

What is the opportunity?
Responsibilities
As a Senior / Data Engineer you will be responsible to deliver in an individual contributor role’s capacity. Here is a breakdown:
- Minimum 5 to 12 years of experience with Data Engineering on AWS.
- Strong Proficiency in SQL, Python, Apache Spark, AWS Data Stack (S3, EMR, Glue Catalog, Athena, Lambda, Airflow), Starburst / Trino.
- Solid Understanding of Lakehouse Architecture - Apache Iceberg / Delta Lake.
- Experience with CI/CD practices using GitHub Actions.
- Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Mindset to design solutions for scale, proactively involve in additional areas and domains.
- Experience with Tableau or other modern BI tools.
- Familiarity with observability tools like Grafana / Datadog / CloudWatch.
- Awareness about latest in Tech – Gen AI, Data Universe.
- Drive for working on Modern Data Lakehouse Platform.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Design and develop highly efficient code ensuring scalability, performance, security, and quality.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
