What is the opportunity?

Responsibilities

As a Senior / Data Engineer you will be responsible to deliver in an individual contributor role’s capacity. Here is a breakdown:

• Minimum 5 to 12 years of experience with Data Engineering on AWS.
• Strong Proficiency in SQL, Python, Apache Spark, AWS Data Stack (S3, EMR, Glue Catalog, Athena, Lambda, Airflow), Starburst / Trino.
• Solid Understanding of Lakehouse Architecture - Apache Iceberg / Delta Lake.
• Experience with CI/CD practices using GitHub Actions.
• Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Mindset to design solutions for scale, proactively involve in additional areas and domains.
• Experience with Tableau or other modern BI tools.
• Familiarity with observability tools like Grafana / Datadog / CloudWatch.
• Awareness about latest in Tech – Gen AI, Data Universe.

Location Type: Hybrid

This role offers a balanced arrangement, with the expectation of working 3 days a week in our local office and the flexibility to work from home for the remaining days. It is essential that you reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the office location for the in-office workdays.
