Senior Data Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field

• 5+ years of data engineering experience

• Hands-on with data warehousing and lake tools like Databricks, Apache Spark, Azure Data Lake, Blob Storage

• Proficient with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server

• Strong experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure cloud stack

• Strong knowledge of data modeling principles

• Proficient in Python

• Additional skills (any is a plus): DevOps practices, Linux, Hadoop, Docker, indexing and performance optimization

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Proficient English communication (written and spoken)

• Detail-oriented and technically strong

• Customer-oriented mindset

• Mentorship experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data pipelines

• Manage data lakes and warehouses

• Integrate data from various sources for analytics and reporting

• Optimize data structures and tables for performance

• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet data needs

• Support and improve cloud-based data solutions

• Maintain high-quality documentation and code standards

Job Details

Job location: Bangalore (Hybrid – 3 days in office, initial 10 days in-office for KT)
