The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with proven experience in building and managing scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions. About The Role
We are hiring Senior GCP Data Engineers and Architects for a leading MNC. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with proven experience in building and managing scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions. Multiple roles are open across engineering and architecture tracks.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize large-scale data pipelines and ETL workflows on GCP.
- Build and maintain data models, storage solutions, and analytical systems leveraging BigQuery, Dataflow, and other GCP services.
- Ensure robust data governance, security, and compliance within cloud environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Scientists, Analysts, and Business Teams) to deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Optimize SQL queries, scripts, and workflows for performance and scalability.
- Lead architectural discussions, define best practices, and mentor junior team members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data pipelines and production environments.
- 4+ years hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- 3+ years working experience with Python and SQL.
- Strong experience in one or more of the following :
- GCP + Python + SQL + Dataflow
- GCP + BigQuery
- GCP + Data Governance
- GCP + Java + Apache Beam
- GCP + Big Data + SQL + ETL
- GCP + PySpark / BigQuery SQL
- GCP + BigQuery + Unix + PL/SQL
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and compliance standards.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments with cross-location teams.
- Experience with advanced Big Data frameworks and large-scale distributed systems.
- Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization Prior experience in architecting enterprise-grade GCP data solutions.
