About the job:
Key responsibilities:
1 - Develop data science and machine learning models for applications across Myntra's storefront, supply chain, and other business areas.
2 - Apply expertise in time series analysis, forecasting, and optimization to solve complex business problems.
3 - Collaborate with product and business teams to translate requirements into machine learning solutions.
4 - Work with engineering and platform teams to deploy predictive models and ensure system integration.
5 - Collect, process, and manage large datasets in collaboration with data platform teams.
6 - Ensure efficiency of models by leveraging advanced algorithms, optimization solvers, and ML frameworks.
7 - Contribute to research by exploring state-of-the-art techniques such as graph neural networks, transformers, and diffusion models.
8 - Prepare documentation, reports, and research outputs to communicate findings and support decision-making.

Other Requirements:
- Postgraduate degree (MTech, MS, PhD) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, or Mathematics.
- 3-5 years of experience in machine learning, forecasting, or optimization.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and large-scale data processing.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with optimization solvers (CPLEX, Gurobi, COIN-OR, PuLP).
- Familiarity with NLP, computer vision, and deep learning is a plus.
- Exposure to DevOps practices for ML model deployment is desirable.
- Knowledge of LLMs and Generative AI, including prompt engineering and model optimization, preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with an awareness of ethical considerations in data science.
