10+ Years Relevant Experience

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Data Scientist to join our high-performing technical and business teams. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in data science, machine learning, forecasting, and cloud-based platforms such as Databricks and AWS. A strong command of Python and SQL is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a data science or analytics role (Team Member).
• 5+ years of experience in a data science or analytics role (Team Lead).

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
• Develop and deploy machine learning models to solve business challenges.
• Communicate findings through data visualizations and reports.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and product teams to turn insights into action.
• Design and implement A/B tests to evaluate feature performance or business hypotheses.
• Translate business problems to data science problem.
• Work with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver custom solutions.

Must have Skills

• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and modelling.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and working with relational databases.
• Experience with machine learning algorithms and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, XGBoost etc).
• Experience in Forecasting will be added advantage.
• Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and hypothesis testing.
• Knowledge of deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Working knowledge with cloud platforms like AWS, Databricks (Databricks preferred).
• Experience in MLOP's and CI/CD work flow.
• Experience in developing end to end pipeline in any of cloud platform (AWS and Databricks).

Good to have Skills

• Awareness of data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience with big data tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
• Integrate with Git for version control and team collaboration.
• Evolve with the newer technologies and suggest optimal solutions.
• Leadership: Ability to mentor and motivate team members towards team success.
• Domain functional knowledge expertise in Sales & Marketing, Customer Analytics and Retail Analytics.
• Experience in Automotive domain is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Able to play an active team player in high performing technical team.
