We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Data Scientist/Senior Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in leading data-driven projects, applying advanced analytics, and delivering actionable insights. This role involves collaborating across teams, mentoring junior staff, and staying current with developing technologies in data science and machine learning.

This role involves collaborating across teams, mentoring junior staff, and staying current with developing technologies in data science and machine learning.
Key Skills
- Master’s degree or higher in data science, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in R or Python (R preferred) for data modeling and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of SQL for data extraction and transformation.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning models and statistical techniques.
- Proven ability to translate complex data findings into business strategies.
- Experience in cross-validation techniques and model evaluation.
- Excellent communication skills for delivering technical and non-technical reports.
- Ability to mentor junior data scientists and guide project execution.
- Knowledge of ethical data practices and data governance.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.
- Understanding of big data platforms and distributed computing frameworks.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for data projects.
- Design and execute data science projects aligned with business objectives.
- Collect, clean, and prepare data from multiple sources for analysis.
- Mentor and guide junior data scientists to ensure quality output.
- Develop statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems.
- Monitor model performance and refine approaches for better accuracy.
- Prepare easy-to-understand reports to communicate insights and outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data initiatives with strategic goals.
- Stay updated with advancements in data science and apply new methods to projects.
- Ensure compliance with quality and information security standards in all data processes.
