Position: Senior Data Scientist

Location: Thane West, Mumbai

Experience: 5 to 12 Years

CTC: Up to ₹22 LPA

About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and highly skilled Senior Data Scientist / Machine Learning Specialist to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a key role in designing, building, and deploying innovative machine learning systems and contributing to product development initiatives across cloud and edge computing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and solve complex problems by proposing, designing, and delivering scalable technical solutions.
• Study and transform data science prototypes into production-ready systems.
• Design and develop machine learning applications and systems.
• Research and implement suitable ML algorithms and tools.
• Select appropriate datasets and data representation techniques.
• Conduct ML tests, experiments, and statistical analysis to refine model performance.
• Train and retrain systems as needed.
• Extend and customize existing ML libraries and frameworks for specific use cases.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams for product development initiatives, including work on distributed systems, fault-tolerant architecture, containerization, etc.

Required Technical Skills:

• Strong programming skills (Python preferred).
• Solid understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Proficiency in R, TensorFlow, SciPy, and ML frameworks such as Keras, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Experience with Generative AI (GenAI) implementation in at least one project.
• Working knowledge of LLM tools and techniques.
• Expertise in Cloud Services: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• In-depth knowledge of machine learning concepts, statistics, probability, and applied mathematics.
• Familiarity with full-stack development concepts is a plus.
• Experience with one or more DBMS platforms.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
