Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Sr. Data Scientist to join our team. The successful candidate will lead the development and deployment of advanced analytics and machine learning solutions to drive business value and innovation. This role requires deep expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, data analysis, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for business stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, and business leaders to solve high-impact problems and influence data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and advanced analytics solutions for key business and customer use cases
• Lead end-to-end data science projects, from problem definition and data exploration to model development, validation, and deployment
• Analyze large, complex datasets to extract actionable insights and identify trends, patterns, and opportunities
• Collaborate cross-functionally with data engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver impactful solutions
• Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences through reports, dashboards, and presentations
• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and workflows in partnership with data engineering teams
• Implement best practices for model monitoring, performance tracking, and continuous improvement
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the growth of the data science community within the organization
• Stay current with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI technologies
• Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and governance standards
  
  

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics roles
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, with experience in data science libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Strong statistical analysis and modeling skills, including regression, classification, clustering, and time series analysis
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, matplotlib, seaborn)
• Solid understanding of data engineering concepts and experience working with large-scale datasets
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Spark)
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor peers Preferred Skills and Experience
• Experience with MLOps, model deployment, and monitoring in production environments
• Familiarity with data lake architectures and big data technologies
• Experience with real-time data processing (Kafka, Spark Streaming, etc.)
• Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
• Certifications in relevant technologies (Azure Data Scientist, AWS Machine Learning, etc.)
