Job Description

As a Senior Data Test Engineer, you will define and execute test cases for data projects, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and reliability. You will collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to enhance data processes and analytics solutions.

Reporting to the Analytics QA Manager within the Product & Technology Team, you'll focus on maintaining the quality and reliability of data engineering processes and contributing to the company's data strategies.

What You Will Do

• Design, code, and deploy data processes for big data, ensuring data security and privacy.
• Ensure data quality through comprehensive testing and execution of test plans.
• Collaborate with the data engineering team for unit testing of data processes.
• Develop architecture and design patterns for high-volume data sets.
• Lead projects addressing complex data engineering challenges.
• Contribute to actionable insights and best practices in Agile processes.
• Enhance data and analytics infrastructure for product development.
• Automate manual tasks to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Have expertise in at least one programming language and framework.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience 8+ years as an ETL or Data Test Engineer.
• Strong understanding of data processing technologies and ETL processes.
• Experience with testing large data sets and designing test cases for data warehousing and BI reports.
• Proficiency in advanced SQL queries, Power BI report testing, and test management tools.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies, including manual, API, and automated testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and cloud environments is a plus.
• Analytical skills for identifying and addressing complex data quality issues.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Understanding of data governance and compliance practices.
