Align Technology, the makers of Invisalign and iTero, is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to support API platforms and infrastructure initiatives.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure, especially focused on the Apigee API Gateway platform (both Hybrid and SaaS), ensuring zero-downtime updates, high system health, and operational excellence.

Align Technology, the makers of Invisalign and iTero, is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to support API platforms and infrastructure initiatives.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure, especially focused on the Apigee API Gateway platform (both Hybrid and SaaS), ensuring zero-downtime updates, high system health, and operational excellence.
In This Role, Youll Need
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in speaking and writing English ( intermediate+ ).
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related program; or equivalent experience in a related engineering discipline with 7+ years experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 7+ years of experience working in DevOps.
- 5+ years of practical experience with AWS and 3+ years leading or owning the DevOps Mission and particularly with experience establishing zero-downtime upgrades and maintenance.
- Programming knowledge in one or major languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, and Ruby.
- Experience with K8S or K8S-based orchestration tools.
- Experience working with configuration and/or infrastructure management frameworks (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.
- Practical experience with modern container technologies (Docker).
- Experience deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining 3rd Party application software in AWS including databases and other components.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts and best practices.
- Strong experience with version control systems (Git).
- The ability to manage complex DevOps projects in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Self-driven results-oriented outlook, willing to take responsibility and accept accountability for action and able to work independently and interact with the platform team.
- Comfortable with ambiguity as needs change regularly with a high degree of initiative and a sense of urgency.
